Universal Children’s Day is celebrated on the 20th of November every year to promote international togetherness, cognizance amongst youth all over the world and to emphasize on the welfare of children. Every year, millions of children globally fall prey to untold violence. Bullying is intensifying and children feel helpless. This is why the trainee teachers of SEGi College Kota Damansara Early Childhood Education Club organized a Special Children’s Day for the children in SJK (T) RRI Sungai Buloh on the 15th of November 2017 with the theme: Stop Violence Against Children! They strongly believe that children need to be protected and to feel safe, and most importantly to have a voice. The main objective of this event was to raise awareness about care, rights and education of children in Malaysia.
