Did you know that poor dental care can affect your overall health? At SEGi, we care about you and your teeth.
In line with SEGi’s dentistry faculty vision and mission to bring smiles to children’s faces, 12 students and staffs visited Rumah Hope children’s home in Paramount Garden to raise awareness on oral health care among the children.
Rumah Hope was established in 1994 as a sanctuary for abused, neglected and under-privileged children aged between five and 17.
During the visit, SEGi staffs and students performed puppet show to educate the kids about oral care in a fun and light-hearted manner.
Other activities during the “Future Smiles” campaign were arts and crafts activity, quiz session and education on proper brushing technique.
During the arts and crafts session, kids were seen having fun as they made a selection of tooth mould with the help from the students.
Goodie bags were also given to the 32 kids from the children’s home.
