SEGi University’s medical students are currently helping 64 Special Olympics athletes to prepare for the upcoming Borneo Post Run (BP Run) through a series of training sessions at Kutien Garden in Bukit Lima, Sibu, Sarawak.
The training sessions at Kutien Garden are organised by Special Olympics Sibu and is supported by SEGi University. SEGi University‘s Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Professor Dr. Samiah Yasmin the project was part of a community service to assist the Special Olympics athletes.
The medical students will also participate alongside Special Olympics athletes in the 4km run on 31st August which will be held at Sibu Town Square, Sarawak.
