Following the Government’s continuous effort to contain the spread of COVID-19, the MCO has been extended to 4 March 2021.
The statement issued by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) in regards to the operations of Private Higher Educational Institutions during MCO; admission of students to campuses is allowed subjected to the preparation and steps taken by the institute to ensure the adherence of the standard operating procedures (SOP) set by the National Security Council and the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH).
Effective 1 March as per the announcement by MOHE, six categories of students can return to campuses to resume the hybrid teaching and learning sessions. Students are to communicating directly with the faculty members regarding classes, examinations, research, and any activities related to their studies. Any further updates will be provided by each campus respectively.
Students are reminded to adhere to the rules under the MCO, including avoiding any form of traveling or gathering with peers during this period.
All operational and management employees are to refer to their respective Heads of Department (HOD) and contact respective Human Resource Management (HRM) office for clarification regarding work arrangements and the business continuity plan within the said period. Employees working from home and other sites are to remain contactable via WhatsApp, email, mobile phone, etc., during working hours.
SEGi University & Colleges will follow the progress of COVID-19 situation and adhere to the guidelines imposed by the government. We will also continue to update all students and employees.
