United Nations High Commission for Refugees

Faculty of Dentistry organized a collaborative Corporate Social Responsibility project between SEGi University and the Oral Health Division, State Department of Health, Ministry of Health Malaysia on 20-21 Dec 2016. The project was started with dental care for a group of 66 refugee children who were provided with oral health education, dental examination and basic dental treatment from the Chin Student Organization (CSO) Learning Centre, Alam Jaya, Cheras. This is an organisation affiliated with the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) and is registered with the Malaysian Registrar of Societies and Organizations as ‘Society of Welfare and Human Capital Development Selangor’ (Pertubuhan Kebajikan dan Pembangunan Modal Insan Selangor).
