The Students Affairs Division of SEGi University today launched the STEP Programme Ambassador with a new development for the STEP Programme in 2016.
28 high achieving final year students who completed the STEP Programme 2015 from both SEGi University and SEGi College Subang Jaya were awarded certificates and given the title “STEP Programme Ambassadors”.
With the launch of the new development, the revised STEP Programme for the year 2016 will be extended from three months to a period of six months with the addition of internship training. A breakdown of the revised training module includes Assessment, Experiential Training, Industrial Training, Industrial Talk and Business Field Trip.
SEGi’s Talent Enhancement Programme or more commonly known as STEP was first launched in May 2015 by the SEGi Career Office at SEGi University in collaboration with Manpower Group, a well renowned human resource consulting firm.
With STEP, high achieving final year students from various programmes are selected to experience intensive training classes to prepare them for working life. Through STEP, students will be able to shine at the workplace and will be well equipped for a successful career with the guidance provided during the programme.
