SEGi was recently awarded the People’s Choice Silver Award 2015 in the Education and Learning Category for the third consecutive year at the Putra Brand Awards 2015. The award cemented SEGi as a preferred choice for tertiary education. SEGi intends to thrive further in providing a complete learning experience for students and be at the forefront of education excellence.
“Our recognition as a brand is more than just communication but about effort from all stakeholders including SEGians to live and work according to our brand promise,” said Vice Chancellor Emeritus Professor Dr Muhamad bin Awang.
The Putra Brand Silver trophy was presented to SEGi’s Vice Chancellor Emeritus Professor Dr. Muhamad bin Awang.
The Putra Brand Awards, which is organised by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents of Malaysia (4As) and endorsed by the Malaysian External Trade Development Corp (MATRADE), is based on an online nationwide polling, which determines Malaysia’s favourite brands. A total of 6,000 consumers were surveyed and the Gold, Silver and Bronze trophies were awarded to top Malaysian brands, as well as small and medium enterprises.
Besides receiving the Silver Award for this year and last year, SEGi bagged the Bronze Award in 2010 and 2012, and managed to maintain its winning streak in the Reader’s Digest Trusted Brand award by receiving Gold between 2013 and 2015. SEGi is also the recipient for the World Branding Awards, Brand Excellence Award 2014-2015 in the education category. Other awards garnered include MRCA CROWN Awards, Outstanding Innovation Award 2014 and COURSES NOW CN50, Students Choice award 2015.
